Hunting knife puddle iron-TNT666
...with an extra-narrow handle made of green guaiac wood (lignum vitae).
The lignum vitae has a wonderfully intense fragrance, the wrought iron from the late 18th century produces a strong, damascene-like pattern, the cutting edge is made of extremely wear-resistant and sharp TNT666.
Three brass pins and an eyelet for leather cord/strap for securing complete the overall picture harmoniously.
The TNT666 is a special melt by Achim Wirtz, which is no longer in production.
The puddling iron comes from a historical find from the Adersleben monastery and, due to its strong pattern and special manufacturing process, is a unique piece of European craft history.
A handmade leather sheath can be ordered separately upon request.

Notes
All our knives are handcrafted in our workshop in the Harz Mountains. We place great emphasis on the quality, aesthetics, durability, and sustainability of our products. We treat the wood exclusively with linseed oil varnish and a 100% natural hard wax.
The wrought iron we use comes exclusively from our region (within a 50km radius) and from historically sound finds. We only use material that no longer serves any purpose related to monuments or cultural heritage and whose further processing has been officially approved.
