Hardening service L
Blades up to 40cm in length
Our high-quality hardening furnace enables us to harden all types of steel to the exact degree.
Optimal hardening and tempering allow the respective steel to reach its full potential, making it more durable and longer-lasting.
We harden in various specially designed hardening oils.
We recommend that you do not forge the blades too thin and in any case normalize and anneal them to reduce stress (soften).
Grinding the blade can also cause it to turn blue.
Afterwards, normalization is essential to avoid hardening delay.
If required and by prior arrangement, we will straighten the hardened blades if the distortion is not too severe (i.e. wavy, on both sides).
The drill holes and blade grinding should be completed before hardening.
Please do not grind the blades too sharp or too thin!
The material thickness at the cutting edge should not be less than 0.6mm.
Process:
1. Select the desired blade length (S, M, L) and enter it into the
